More Than Just Mud: Jeeps, Community, and the Power of Pink
Beneath the Dust and Chrome, There’s a Purpose
Let’s be honest. Most people think Jeep events are about the mud, the flex, the tires big enough to crush a mailbox, and maybe a camp chair or two. And yeah, you’ll see all that at the Astorg Jeep Lovers Event. But this gathering? It’s got something a little different under the hood.
This one’s running on heart.
Not Your Average Parking Lot Party
On the surface, it looks like a rolling car show with better music and more flannel. But dig a little deeper, past the tire shine and the soft-top selfies and you’ll find a group of people turning a love for Jeeps into something powerful.
Because this isn’t just about Jeeps. It’s about breast cancer awareness, and putting a spotlight on the people and programs working to save lives, like the Camden Clark Foundation and their Mobile Mammography Units. These rigs go where they're needed most, offering screenings to women who otherwise might not get one. And that, my friends, is what you call doing the real work.
Why We Ride in Pink
Bonnie’s Bus, WVU Medicine’s mobile mammography unit, brings life-saving breast cancer screenings directly to communities across West Virginia, because early detection shouldn’t depend on your zip code.
It’s a reminder that while we’re out there showing off our rigs and our radio playlists, someone else is fighting a battle we might not see. The Camden Clark Foundation helps fund programs that catch breast cancer early—because early matters. Early saves lives.
This year, Camden Clark will have an on-site unit display and an informational booth stocked with resources to support those facing the fight. Stop by, learn something new, and see the real-world impact your support can have.
And by showing up, lining up, and lifting each other up, every Jeep becomes a beacon for something bigger. You’re not just parking in formation. You’re forming a force.
